Welcome to PLOD!

PLOD is a format that is being developed in Japan with the aim of becoming a standard for the representation of location information of patients and contacts of highly infectious diseases. This project is currently being carried out as part of a project of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) entitled
"Foundation of the management platform of patients’ locational data for pandemic response."

PLODは、感染症における患者や接触者の位置情報表現における標準を目指し、国内で開発が進められている規格です。このプロジェクトは、現在、日本医療研究開発機構（AMED）による「感染症危機管理における位置情報活用に向けた基盤的技術の開発」の一環として進められています。
